Wilstem was such a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and helpful, the animals were amazing to see up close, and the whole place was very well kept. It was well worth the money, and we felt like we got a unique experience you can’t find anywhere else. Our family had a great time and we will definitely be back!

Quite an adventure either do it in your own vehicle or ride in the wagon. The animals get up close and personal.

We had an amazing time at the drive-thru safari! Admission included a drive-thru dino safari and a walk-thru zoo with giraffes, otters, and even a wolf puppy. Heads-up: during the first part of the drive-thru, the animals come right up to your car—they peck at windows and tug on mirrors and handles, which can feel intimidating, especially for younger kids.
Later, I fed an ostrich so the kids could watch—it was very aggressive, almost knocking the cup out of my hand, so hold on tight. The emus also acted aggressively toward each other over food.
Even with these intense moments, I highly recommend this experience! Just be prepared for how hands-on the animals can be—it’s a unique, fun, and memorable adventure for the whole family.
